Turkish Oud with Soft Case has 11 strings and is 14 1/2" x 30" x 8".
The soundboard is European spruce (Picea abies) and has three wooden rosette sound holes each accented with b/w/b circular rings. The body is constructed of 21 alternating staves of African padauk (Pterocarpus soyauxii) and African sapele (Entandrophragma cylindricum) separated with a thin line of holly. The neck has a core of beechwood which has been overlaid with alternating strips of padauk and sapele veneer to match the body. The peg box is outfitted with 11 olivewood pegs and a bone nut. The fingerboard is unfinished sapele with a border of holly and ebony lines with a scale length of 580mm. Includes soft case and pick.
