A Word on String Changing
When winding the string around the shaft/post, make sure that
each revolution of string around the shaft/post sits
one notch lower than the previous revolution.
Tune the string to pitch and clip the excess string with a wire cutter.
It is recommended to change strings one at a time to avoid drastic changes in neck tension (causing possible damage to the
neck, bridge or top).
New String Stretch
New strings go through a brief period of stretching.
To minimize the inconvenience retune more frequently until the strings stabilize and hold their pitch.
Always plan ahead and change strings at least 24 hours before a performance.
